Cesky Crumlov

Today we visited three country in a single day. We Left the boat in Austria, drove to the Czech Republic then returned to the boat which had moved to Passau in Germany.

We visited the Czech republic to visit the medieval Czech town of Cesky Krumlov. A picturesque little town with a dark paste.

Bram Stoker was inspired to write Dracular following a visit to Cesky Krumlov. At the time of the Bohemian vampire hysteria, a very unconventional woman reigned at Krumlov Castle - Eleonore von Schwarzenberg. After the accidental death of her husband, Eleonore withdrew to the castle, raised wolves, indulged the preparation of poisons and clearly had a marked penchant for the occult.
