Amsterdam

Our last morning of cruising before docking in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam. There we enjoyed a sightseeing canal cruise through the cities 17th century architecture in a glass-top boat

On the canal cruise we saw a number of house boats, lovely bridges and mountains of push bikes.

We also visited the house where Anne Franks stayed during the war. We walked through the where the family was hidden and read the story of Anne's life.

We went for a walk around the city in the afternoon and found a Bjorn Borg shop where we picked up some tee shirts for the boys. We also walked through Amsterdam's red light district - fascinating. We had a coffee in a cafe, picking it after having a good smell to check that there weren't any funny cigarettes about.
